Our Guest Speakers for the QFS October Meeting are Donna and Jim Klaer, long time finch breeders with a great aviary complex and much success with their breeding. According to Donna “Feeding finches for 30 years has been an incredible journey!”
For Donna and Jim it all began with a simple bag of seed from a pet store and a few seed heads. Over the years, they’ve honed their finch food-making skills, always keeping in mind cost, time constraints, and ease of preparation.
They now feed a comprehensive diet which meets the needs of their large mixed collection of finches. Donna will outline all the components and explain why they feed each of them. You will certainly learn something from this one.
